- A crash has been reported on the M1 northbound between junctions 8 and 9 (Hemel Hempstead and Flamstead).
- According to National Highways, just after 12pm, there were delays of up to an hour and around 5.5 miles of congestion. All lanes are now cleared but delays remain.
- Herts Police and the ambulance service are at the scene.
- Separately, traffic was (just before 12.25pm) held near Potters Bar, between junctions 23 and 24, in the anti-clockwise M25 after another crash.
- Traffic is now flowing freely, according to National Highways.
