A global printer manufacturer will be supporting and promoting the “amazing work” of a Watford hospice as part of its efforts to work with the community.

RISO UK has become a platinum partner of Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care as part of the charity’s corporate partnership programme.

The partnership will see RISO UK work together with Rennie Grove Peace, kicking off with a staff fundraiser in December – a Christmas jumper day. A number of RISO UK staff will also be taking to the skies to raise money at the charity’s upcoming sponsored skydives.

The partnership was announced during a visit by members of the RISO UK team to the charity’s Peace Hospice building in Watford.

During the visit, senior members of the company were able to see at first hand the breadth and range of services offered by the charity, and the difference its care makes to patients and their families.

Tatsuo Murakami, managing director at RISO UK, said: “We’ve recently moved our UK head office to the Croxley Business Park and are keen to work with our local community in a number of ways. This partnership with Rennie Grove Peace is one of the ways we are pledging to support people in our local community.

“We are delighted and proud to have become a partner of Rennie Grove Peace. Its compassionate team works tirelessly supporting and giving comfort to so many people and their families from across the region.

"From inpatient care to counselling, they provide a wide range of vital services that are relied upon by those in need, but those services are very costly. So with this partnership we are thrilled to be able to help raise essential funds and promote the amazing work of Rennie Grove Peace.”
