A man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm after an alleged pub attack.
It reportedly involved one man assaulting another inside the Top of the World, in Warners End Road, Hemel Hempstead, between 10pm and midnight on Friday, October 6.
The victim was seriously injured and required facial surgery, police said.
The force today (December 8) confirmed a 30-year-old man from Hemel Hempstead was arrested in connection with the assault. He has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.

Detective Constable Samantha Pearson said: "Our enquiries are continuing, and I am urging anyone with information to please get in touch.
“We know the pub will have been busy at this time on a Friday night, and there could be several witnesses who haven’t yet spoken to police."
