An Audi driver sustained serious injuries during a crash last night.

Police are appealing for information, witnesses and dash cam footage following the serious collision in Digswell on Saturday.

The incident happened shortly before 8pm on the B1000/Hertford Road and two vehicles were involved – a white Audi RS4 and a grey VW Golf.

The driver of the Audi – a man in his thirties – sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

Sergeant Rebecca Cornell, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to get in contact.

“If you saw the collision or the events leading up to it, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

“I would also like to ask anyone who was driving in the area last night with a dash cam fitted, to check their footage and to let us know if you have captured the collision or anything else that could help.

“Additionally, I would like any residents whose houses face onto Hertford Road to please check any CCTV or doorbell cameras that you may have.

“Please get in touch by emailing me at quoting ISR 707 of 9 December.”
