Hi there! My name’s Susie and I’m a two-year-old ex-racing greyhound who was brought to the National Animal Welfare Trust when I stopped winning enough races. I’m looking for a wonderful new home to call my own now I’ve been retired from racing.

I’m a very lucky girl as I’m comfy in a foster home whilst I wait for my new home, rather than living in kennels. My foster home has a small cockerpoo-sized dog in it who I’m getting on with very well. This means I could live with another dog in my forever home as long as we get on well during visits here at the centre and on home visits.

I can live with older children who’ll respect my space and let me come to them so I can learn to trust them. I can't live with cats though, as my greyhound nature makes me want to chase them.

I’m not used to being left on my own yet, but it’s something I’m going to be working on in my foster home. When I go to my new home I’d like there to be someone around most of the time to begin with so I can settle in. I’ve been doing really well with my toilet training as well to get ready for my first proper home.
