Hello there! My name’s Minnie, and I’m a two-and-a-half year old English Bulldog who’s looking for a new home.

I came into the National Animal Welfare Trust with quite a few health problems but had an operation to correct my breathing and fix an eye issue, so now life is much more comfortable for me.

I’m a sweet girl who likes having just a few special people in my life – I tend to shout at strangers but that’s just because I’m scared. Once I get to know you, I’m a soppy girl who loves cuddles and fuss. My favourite thing is lying at the end of your bed chewing contentedly on a chew toy.

I’ve previously lived with a child but found it very stressful because of their noise and running around so I’m looking for a home where there are only children over 16 who’ll give me space and time to get to know them. I’d prefer to be the only dog in the home and cats are a no-no as I like to chase them!

I’m toilet-trained when I’m in a home environment, but my new family will need to give me plenty of opportunities to go out to the toilet whilst I settle in and learn a routine. I’ll need a family where someone’s around all the time to train me to cope with being on my own as I’m not used to it and could be destructive when left.

If you’re looking for a loving girl like me and could help me feel secure, apply for me today! Email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2).
