Hello, my name’s Belle and I’m a ten-year-old crossbreed who’s hoping to find a new home. I came to the National Animal Welfare Trust in January when my previous owner passed away, which means the team hasn't been able to get any history on me.
I’m a sweet girl who turns into a young pup when I get excited to see people I know. I love cuddles and go all wriggly. I also enjoy lying on laps - I don't care how big I am! When I meet new people I can be quite shy, so I’ll do lots of barking to let you know I’m unsure. Chicken will win me round though as that’s my favourite treat.
I’ll need a quiet environment to settle into so can live with older teenagers. I can also live with another calm dog, as long as we get on during visits at the centre and a home visit. I can't live with cats though as I want to chase them!
I can be left alone for an hour or two, but any longer and I become vocal and distressed. I’ll need to slowly build up the time I can be left.
Like all dogs from the NAWT, I come with four free weeks of Petplan insurance and have been medically checked by a vet, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered.
If you can offer a lovely lady like me a wonderful new home, then apply for me today! Call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) or email reception@nawt.org.uk
