A signed Anthony Joshua boxing glove has sold for £1,500, which will go to helping charities in Watford.

The glove was auctioned 1Life Events' Valentines Party at Hilton Watford last Saturday, and although bidding started at £250, there was plenty of interest.

The money raised will help support charities across Watford, with Councillor Dawn Allen-Williamson expressing her delight at the event.

"We are grateful to the founder and CEO of 1Life Events, Yetunde Odusanya who has been raising money to support charities in Watford since she started the company," said Cllr Allen-Williamson.

"A big shout out must also go to Anthony Joshua for donating the glove for auction. Bidding started at £250 and it was sold for £1,500, which was a fantastic result.

"Yetunde would also like to extend her appreciation to all the companies for their donations and support, including The London Clinic, AJ Boxing, Panthera Sports and Origin Massage."
