Two people are in hospital with "serious injuries" after the car they were in was involved in a crash with an articulated HGV.

Police are appealing for information, witnesses and dash cam footage following the serious crash at the junction of Maylands Avenue and Maxted Road, Hemel Hempstead, on Friday at about 10.20pm.

The driver of a red Vauxhall Corsa and the passenger were taken to hospital and the lorry driver of the white HGV was unhurt.
