Hello there, my name’s Spark and I’m a 12-year-old male Lurcher who’s looking for a new home. I came into the National Animal Welfare Trust two months ago when my owner passed away. That was very sad but at least I had somewhere safe to go.

The NAWT team have been spoiling me rotten since I’ve been here, which has helped to show me how loved I am. I’m a bit shy when I first meet people, but I soon warm up and show them how lovely I am!

I can live with children of any age, as long as they’ll respect my space. I could potentially live with another dog, as long as we get on during meets at the centre and on a home visit. I can't live with cats though as I’d want to chase them.

I’m not used to being left on my own and cry if I’m left. I need there to be someone around all the time who’ll help me settle in before starting to teach me how to cope with being alone. I’m so loving that I get very lonely and really need an owner who’ll be my best mate.

Coming from the NAWT, I’ve been medically checked; vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered; given an individual training plan and four free weeks of Petplan insurance.

If you can give an old boy like me a wonderful home, then apply for me today! Email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2).
