The Watford Portuguese Association hosted an open day with Watford MP Dean Russell and the Portuguese Consulate, among other dignitaries who attended.
The event, which took place on Saturday, featured local businesses' products and services and was an opportunity for networking and discussions regarding the Portuguese community in Watford.
Following the event, Mr Russell said: "It was a great honour to be invited by Ricardo Costa, Vice President of the Watford Portuguese Association to attend the Watford Portuguese Association Open Day.
"I was very pleased to say a few words and thank everyone for their hard work.
"Events like these play a vital role in our community.
"The Watford Portuguese community contributes immensely to our town, and I look forward to continuing to support their events and plans."
