A serial speeder who was caught six times is among four people taken to court in March over Watford driving offences.

There were also appearances for someone who drove while on cocaine and cannabis, along with another going 45mph in a 30.

Fabio Ferreira

Fabio Ferreira, of Hallowell Road, Northwood, appeared at Willesden Magistrates' Court on March 19 accused of driving a Peugeot Partner van in Wiggenhall Road in Watford while on cocaine on August 24, 2023.

Drug tests revealed the 35-year-old had 88 micrograms of cocaine and 3.8 micrograms of cannabis per litre of blood, over the 50mg and 2mg legal limits.

Ferreria pleaded guilty and he was released on conditional bail until sentencing at Harrow Crown Court. A date is yet to be set.

Alexandru Baloi

Alexandru Baloi, of Haydon Close, Brent, was ordered to pay £1,146 at St Albans Magistrates' Court on March 19 after he was caught speeding four times in two months.

He breached the 30mph limit on the A4125 Eastbury Road and A412 Scots Hill on multiple occasions between December 3, 2022 and January 30, 2023, reaching speeds as high as 45mph.

The 35-year-old must pay a £440 fine, £616 victim surcharge and £90 in court costs, and receive four points to his licence.

Stephanie Listelle Campbell

On the same day, Stephanie Listelle Campbell, of Fourth Avenue, Watford, was also sentenced after she pleaded guilty to driving at 36mph in the 30mph zone on the A412 Rickmansworth Road on June 16, 2023. 

At St Albans Magistrates' Court, the 39-year-old was given three points to her licence and ordered to pay £100, of which £40 for a fine, £16 victim surcharge and £44 court costs.

Emma Bloomfield

Emma Bloomfield, of Hartswood Close in Bushey, was handed a £342 fine and had six points added to her licence at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on March 5 over the string of speeding offences in the Watford area last year.

The 45-year-old breached the 30mph speed limit six times in her Audi A1, four of which happened in the same road, and recorded going 48mph in one instance.

In court, Bloomfield was also sentenced for not giving her identity to police when required to six times in Stevenage between May 10 and June 26.
