Staff at two Anytime Fitness locations have donated more than 600 Easter eggs to West Herts Hospitals Charity for hospitalised children.

The fitness clubs at Croxley Park and Bushey gathered the Easter eggs following a drive organised by the club. The charity will distribute the eggs among the hospitals' paediatric patients in time for Easter.

The clubs incentivised the drive by offering a free trial or guest pass for egg donations. This year's event marks the fourth consecutive year the fitness club has conducted the drive, with a total of over 2,000 eggs donated since 2019.

Vinny Mansi, club manager at Anytime Fitness Croxley Park said: "This event worked well in previous years, it is a real privilege to work with West Herts Hospitals Charity and donate to the children in hospital over Easter.

"We’ve had a lot of support already from our members who have kindly donated eggs, and businesses such as Morrisons, who have shown their community support by allowing us to engage shoppers in their store’s own eggs this Easter."

Emily Theobald, senior fundraising officer at West Herts Hospitals Charity, said: "Huge thanks to Anytime Fitness for their continued support - thank you to everyone who has donated Easter treats for children who find themselves in hospital this Easter, your kindness is really appreciated."
