Watford's Greenbanks care home has celebrated a successful open day to highlight its role in the community.

The event displayed the home's improvement programme progress and offered a lively setting filled with music, delicacies, and conversations.

Attendees, including residents, local councillors, and visitors from around Watford, took part in the open day last week.

Femi, the care home's manager, said: "The open day was a fantastic opportunity for us to demonstrate the dedication of our staff and the strides we've made in enhancing the quality of life at Greenbanks.

"It was heartening to witness the support from our community and to showcase the welcoming environment we've cultivated."

Participants also explored the facility through guided tours set up specifically for possible new residents or staff members.

The open day marked a new era for Greenbanks as a vibrant hub at the heart of the Watford community.  

Greenbanks hosts 66 bedrooms and provides residential and dementia care for older people.

In addition, its comfortable setting and hospitable decor make it a warm and enjoyable home for residents.
