- The northbound M1 was closed this afternoon within junction 10 (Luton) following a crash.
- There were hour long delays on the motorway with queues tailing back to Hemel Hempstead.
- Motorists were asked to leave the motorway at the junction 10 exit and rejoin on the entry slip.
- While the road closure has now been lifted, according to National Highways, delays of around 25-minutes remain as of 2pm.
- By 2.45pm delays had largely cleared.
- Police have been contacted for more information.
