Michael Cheek broke the deadlock just before half-time with Solihull Moors protesting that he fouled defender Alex Whitmore before slotting home.

Moors levelled three minutes into the second half through Joe Sbarra after Tahvon Campbell’s shot was parried.

Cheek scored his second goal to restore Bromley’s advantage after he had been fouled.

But they were again pegged back as Solihull skipper Jamey Osborne fired home from 20 yards.

Bromley sub Alex Kirk was twice denied by the woodwork in extra-time as the play-off final headed for a penalty showdown for the second consecutive year.

Bromley keeper Grant Smith saved the opening two Solihull spot-kicks from Tyrese Shade and Joss Labadie as they held their nerve despite a miss from Ashley Charles.
