Citizens Advice Watford is currently in need of new volunteers to join their team.
As a local independent charity, Citizens Advice Watford offers advice and advocacy to approximately 8,000 people annually who face crises or difficult situations.
Volunteers provide support by helping people understand their rights, handle housing issues, get out of debt, apply for benefits, and advocate for a fairer society.
The charity provides all necessary training and does not require previous experience or knowledge; volunteers from all backgrounds and cultures are welcome.
Karen, who has volunteered at Citizens Advice for two years, said: "Volunteering at Citizens Advice has been a very fulfilling experience for me.
"I thought I was going to give something away (time), but in fact there's so much more I have received - friendship, knowledge, skills, experience, confidence and much more."
The charity hopes to find dedicated volunteers who can commit to assisting their community at least one day a week for a year or more.
More information can be found at cawatford.org.uk or at the Volunteer Fair at the Atria Watford on Saturday, June 1.
