The proposed conversion of a high street commercial unit into flats is among the planning applications that could impact Watford residents.

The plans are among the latest round of public notices added to the Public Notice Portal which is used to access upcoming and recent information about various restrictions and applications.

Here are four notices we’ve rounded up which could affect residents in and around the Watford area.

Lower High Street

Plans have been submitted for three new flats in Watford High Street.

The applicant is seeking to convert the existing commercial unit at 204 Lower High Street into homes.

Essex Road

Permission is being sought for new windows and doors at 28 Essex Road, Watford.

If approved, the rear and side windows would be replaced, while a new roof would be constructed.

Oxhey Grange

An application has been submitted for a two-storey extension with basement level, internal and external alterations at Oxhey Grange in Oxhey Lane, Carpenders Park.

Plans also include the demolition of an existing single-storey garage at the site.

Rickmansworth High Street

Plans have been submitted that would see new solar panels installed at 107-109 High Street in Rickmansworth.
