A section of one of Watford’s busiest routes is among the latest planned closures for roadworks that are set to cause disruption to drivers.
Herts County Council has used the Public Notice Portal to publish its intention to make an order to close the southbound carriageway of the A41 North Western Avenue between The Dome roundabout and its junction with the M1 junction 5 Berrygrove Interchange, potentially as soon as April 7.
The portal is used to access upcoming and recent information about various restrictions and applications.
The county council has also signalled its intention to close several other roads in and around Watford to enable works to be carried out.
All temporary closure orders are valid for up to 18 months from the date they come into force, but restrictions will only apply at times shown on signs at or near the relevant locations.
Here are four notices we’ve rounded up that could affect residents in and around Watford.
