Two firms have applied for permission to keep goods vehicles at sites in the Watford area.
The applications for the goods vehicles operator’s licences at premises in Watford and Bushey have been posted in the Public Notice Portal.
The portal is used to access upcoming and recent information about various restrictions and applications.
It also carries details of the latest planned road closure along with two notices in accordance with the Trustee Act of 1925.

Bushey Hall Road, Bushey – goods vehicle operator’s licence
A road haulage firm has applied to make changes to its existing licence to keep two vehicles at a site in Bushey.
Doripesco (UK) Ltd of 335 Church Lane, Kingsbury, London NW9 8JD, is seeking to add an operating centre to keep two goods vehicles at All Storage London Ltd, Bushey Hall Road, Bushey WD23 2EB.
Owners or occupiers of land near the operating centre wishing to make representations should so in writing to the office of the Traffic Commissioner, Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds, LS2 7UE.
Sandy Lane, Watford – goods vehicle operator’s licence
A arboricultural firm has applied for permission to use a property in Watford as a base for a goods vehicle.
All Arboricultural Tree Services Ltd of 21 Woolmerdine Court, Bushey, WD23 2JF is applying for a licence to use Gullimore Farm, Sandy Lane, Watford, WD25 8HE as an operating centre for one goods vehicle and one trailer.
Owners or occupiers of land near the operating centre wishing to make representations should so in writing to the office of the Traffic Commissioner, Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds, LS2 7UE.
Batchworth Lane, Northwood – temporary closure
Herts County Council is intending to make an order to prohibit all vehicles from using Batchworth Lane, Northwood from its junction with A4251 Sandy Lane south-westwards to its junction with Farrington Place, a distance of approximately 100m, for works.
If made, this order will come into force on September 11.
All temporary road closure orders and other restrictions are valid for up to 18 months from the date they come into force, but restrictions will only apply at times shown on signs at or near the relevant locations.
Estate of Owen Walter Roe
Anyone with a claim against, or an interest in, the estate of Owen Walter Roe, late of 31 Lauderdale Road, Hunton Bridge, Kings Langley, WD4 8QA, who died on July 19, 2024 should send written particulars to Veale Wasbrough Vizards 45 Clarendon Road, Watford, WD17 1SZ.
