An application for a licence to sell a unique range of alcohol products in the Harlequin is among the latest public notices that could affect residents in the Watford area.
The Sweet Potato Spirit Company’s application for a premises licence for a kiosk in the shopping centre has been posted in the https://publicnoticeportal.uk/.
The portal is used to access upcoming and recent information about various restrictions and applications.
Herts County Council has also used the portal to publish details of the latest planned road closures in the area, including streets in Watford, Rickmansworth, Croxley Green and Kings Langley.
All temporary road closure orders and other restrictions are valid for up to 18 months from the date they come into force, but restrictions will only apply at times shown on signs at or near the relevant locations.

The Harlequin, Watford – premises licence
A business planning to sell its unique alcohol products in the Harlequin has applied for a premises licence.
The firm has applied for permission for the retail sale of alcohol off the premises only from 9am to 9pm, Monday to Sunday.
It is also seeking permission to open from 9am to 8pm, Monday to Saturday, until 5pm on Sunday and until 9pm at seasonal times.

Kenilworth Drive, Croxley Green – temporary closure
Herts County Council is intending to make an order to prohibit all vehicles from using Kenilworth Drive, Croxley Green from its junction with Manor Way south eastwards for a distance of approximately 70m, except for access, due to utility service works.
If made, the order will come into force on September 22.
Elm Avenue, Watford – temporary closure
The county council is intending to make an order to prohibit all vehicles from using Elm Avenue, Watford from a point in line with the north-western boundary of No.15 Elm Avenue south-eastwards for its entire length to allow utility service works to be carried out.
This order, if made, will come into force on September 24.
Harthall Lane, Kings Langley – temporary closure
An order is set to be made to prohibit all vehicles from using Harthall Lane, Kings Langley from its junction with Bedmond Road south-westwards, south-eastwards and south-westwards to its junction with Railway Terrace, a distance of approximately 2,478m, for utility service works.
If made, this order will come into force on September 24.
High Street, Rickmansworth – temporary closure
Herts County Council is intending to make an order to prohibit all vehicles from using High Street, Rickmansworth from its junction with Western Way south-westwards to its junction with Wensum Way, a distance of approximately 376m, due to utility service works.
This order, if made, will come into force on September 26.
