New parking rules are set to come in outside a parade of shops later this month.
Three Rivers District Council is introducing limited waiting restrictions in School Mead, Abbots Langley.
From February 27, motorists will only be able to park for up to two hours, with no returning within two hours of leaving at 18 bays on the road.
Parking will remain free, with the council saying the changes are designed "to improve road safety and the amenities of the area".
Currently there are no restrictions in the road.

Tanners Wood Hall and Abbots Langley Baptist Church are nearby to the south of the spaces, while Tanners Wood Junior Mixed and Infant School is on the other side of the green.
In June 2024 the council approved plans to add 12 additional parking spaces to the road, despite ten objections.
At the time it was suggested that traffic regulation orders would be considered “to prevent all day residential parking”.
