Oh Crumbs! Coffee trailer found damaged in Abbots Langley

After an extensive search from police and the community, a missing vehicle belonging to Oh Crumbs! Coffee was discovered in Abbots Langley at around 8pm last night (April 8).

A spokesperson for the coffee company said they were "devastated" to lose the trailer after it was taken in Hemel Hempstead on Tuesday (April 7).

Jenny, who runs the trailer, has worked to build the business from the ground up, serving the community at a number of markets and Hemel Hempstead Town FC. She has also worked at Camelot Rugby Club and attended events in Boxmoor.

The company was set up to help "give people a second chance", particularly veterans, ex-emergency service personnel, and individuals who have faced significant challenges, by providing a pathway into business ownership.

Speaking after the trailer was found, a spokesperson said: "We’re incredibly relieved to confirm that Jenny’s Oh Crumbs! Coffee trailer has now been recovered following its theft earlier this week."

Despite the trailer's discovery, Jenny has been forced to temporarily put her "business on hold" because of the damage and disruption caused.

"For a small, independent operator, even a short period like this can have a serious financial impact," the spokesperson continued.

"The response from the community has been nothing short of incredible. The support, messages, and willingness to help have reinforced exactly why Oh Crumbs! Coffee exists in the first place."

The coffee company has launched a GoFundMe page to help Jenny get fully back on her feet, covering repairs, lost trading time, and getting her back out serving the community as quickly as possible.

"Oh Crumbs! Coffee was built to give people a second chance - Jenny’s story is exactly why we do what we do," the spokesperson added.

"This situation could have ended very differently, but thanks to the community we’re now focused on rebuilding and coming back stronger.

At the time of writing, the GoFundMe page has gathered more than £500.

Herts Police have confirmed enquiries remain ongoing.
