Forest Care Village, a residential nursing centre based locally in Borehamwood, is recruiting for several roles as it looks to expand its team in response to growing demand for professional care services.

The centre is looking for domestic assistants, a housekeeping supervisor, and registered nurses (RGN and RMN), with both full-time and part-time positions available for applicants who share the organisation’s values around respectful, person-centred care.

Careers at Forest Care Village in Borehamwood

Forest Care Village, part of the multi-award-winning Forest Healthcare, provides around-the-clock nursing support for adults with complex needs, including neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries, as well as for older people requiring ongoing care.

The modern, purpose-built centre features 178 ensuite private bedrooms and facilities that include a physiotherapy suite, sensory gardens, and communal spaces for activities and socialising, all designed to help residents feel comfortable and maintain their independence.

Forest Care Village has recently undergone an extensive renovation project, with bright, airy hygge-style interiors, natural timbers and soft planting, creating a space that feels like a true home-from-home for both residents and staff.

Care centre manager Momarr Camara from Forest Care Village says: "We’re excited to be recruiting for several new vacancies and would love to hear from applicants either with care experience, or who are open to learning all about what we do and how we deliver high-quality care from our talented senior care colleagues and nurses.

"We’re a specialist nursing centre, but often appoint candidates to diverse roles that are needed within a busy centre, from housekeeping and catering positions to activities coordinators and maintenance posts. It’s well worth checking back to our recruitment pages if you don’t see a suitable role, as we continue to expand."

Current job openings at Forest Care Village

Of the roles actively being recruited to, Forest Care Village is welcoming applicants for the following posts:

  • Domestic assistants, who help to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring both private rooms and communal spaces are beautifully presented, free of clutter, and enable residents and colleagues to move around the centre with ease.
  • A housekeeping supervisor. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, manage rotas, and ensure that clinical devices, equipment, furnishings and catering supplies are cleaned to the necessary standards.
  • Registered nurses, who perform a key role in delivering compassionate, holistic care. RNs also mentor junior colleagues and contribute to continuous improvements in the services provided.

Pay varies based on experience required and the seniority of each role, but all team members receive competitive remuneration, a structured induction process, ongoing training, and access to benefits such as free meals during shifts, employee discount platforms, a workplace pension scheme, and a generous annual leave entitlement.

Momarr adds that: "Many of our team have been with us for years, and we offer a supportive, inclusive workplace where every colleague is hugely valued, focusing on investing in our people so that they can keep delivering outstanding care."
