A football team has made history after winning all four competitions it entered this season.
Chipperfield Corinthians beat the odds, securing the quadruple on May 16, an achievement never done before. The village side triumphed in every single contest, marking a landmark feat for the local club.
The team's first trophy was won early in the season on April 1, with a 2–1 victory over Belstone in the Herts Senior Centenary Trophy (county cup).

Belstone, a division above Chipperfield on the football pyramid, laid a tough contest, leading at 1–0 in the first half. However, goals from Matt Chapman and Freddie Lowe reversed their fortunes, securing Chipperfield's first trophy.
Soon, Chipperfield faced fixture congestion, having to play a staggering ten games in 22 days, all of which they needed to win.
After three league victories, Chipperfield subsequently won another hard-fought match in the Norman Appleby Trophy (the Herts Senior County League’s main cup competition) against Hertford Heath 1–0 on May Bank Holiday Monday. Lewis Toomey scored the sole goal.
Two days later, another league victory was followed by a Cup Final in the Anagram Records Trophy, an interleague tournament for step seven clubs.
Despite Shenfield, hailing from the Essex Olympion League, taking the lead, Sam Hutchings and Dan Griggs responded late into the game, ensuring Chipperfield's win.
A league win three days later set the stage for the ultimate winner-takes-all final league day. If Chipperfield slipped up, second-place Hinton could take the championship.
After a tense match against Cuffley, which saw the opposition take the lead, two strikes from Lewis Toomey gave Chipperfield hope before a Cuffley equaliser. However, with only 30 seconds left to play, Lewis Smith scored a winning header, securing the Herts Senior County League Premier Division title once more.
Starting the season with four competitions, Chipperfield Corinthians emerged victorious in all, rewriting the record books for the Hertfordshire team.
