Kings Langley Carnival returned for annual spot of fun

The Kings Langley Carnival took place on June 27, transforming Kings Langley Common into a lively attraction for all ages between 12pm and 5pm.

Nearly 90 stalls lined the common, offering everything from handmade goods to information about local organisations, alongside a packed schedule of on-stage entertainment and hands-on activities.

Katie, aged 13 and a dancer with SASA said “I loved it! It was so exciting being part of the performances and seeing my family and friends watching us dance”

Food stalls offered Greek, Indian, pizza, and porchetta, alongside ice cream, cocktails, beers and soft drinks.

A raffle featured prizes including a dinner for two at The Glasshouse buffet in Watford, a lawnmower from Taylors Tools, a £100 food voucher from The Old Palace, a family ticket for the Warner Bros Backstage Tour, and £100 off at any Zaza restaurant. Emergency services were also present, with appearances from Hertfordshire Police, the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust, and Kings Langley Fire Station.

Visitors praised the carnival’s atmosphere and organisation.

Louise Clarke, a regular attendee, said: "What a fantastic event. A highlight of the calendar each year."
