New parking restrictions have been proposed in a village near Watford after a pair of petitions calling for action garnered 75 signatures.
Three Rivers District Council is consulting residents over whether to introduce double yellow lines in the Kindersley Way area, Abbots Langley.
The petitions called for double yellow lines at the top of Kindersley Way and a new permit scheme addressing what were described as "insufficient existing restrictions" on the lower section of the street.

Residents are able to weigh in on the proposals until August 21 by visiting https://haveyoursay.threerivers.gov.uk/on-street.
A letter due to be sent to residents later this week reads: "We would like to know if residents in the area would be in support of introducing parking restrictions.
"The council generally only implements parking restriction schemes where there is majority support from residents residing in the proposed area."
It goes on to say: "Parking restrictions are designed to manage parking demand and improve safety and accessibility in areas where on-street parking causes issues."
