Search the Public Notice PortalNew plans for a home and parking space to be built at the end of a row of properties have been submitted.
The planning application is seeking permission from Three Rivers District Council to subdivide a property on Chiltern Drive, Rickmansworth, so the plot can be used for a new residence.
The two-storey building would be constructed to match the existing properties on the street, the applicant said.
It is noted that the plans will impair the side garden of 6 Chiltern Drive, which spreads out at the back.

A similar development at 8 Chiltern Road was granted permission in 2013. At that time the council said the proposed plans would have an "acceptable impact upon the street scene and would provide for a suitable standard of accommodation for its future occupiers".
It is said in the design and access statement that this application at 6 Chiltern Drive is "materially very similar to the previous development".
Neighbours were notified by letter about the proposed plan and have until September 16 to make any comments. The application deadline is October 19.
