A nostalgic video has been shared online showing revellers enjoying a night out at a Watford pub.

TikTok and Instagram content creator "muks.nuthingsorted" has shared the footage taken at the town centre's Colombia Press back in late 2006.

The caption says: "Taking it back to when Watford town centre was a hub for the UK music scene! Columbia Press was the place for warm up drinks before the session started in the big clubs… this was late in the night for the bars or early doors for the clubs."

The video has been viewed 24,000 times since it was uploaded earlier this week, prompting a flood of nostalgic comments.

One commenter wrote: "So glad I experienced it when Pryzm was around, when that went and never reopened as a music venue that was the death of Watford."

Another simply said: "These were the days."

The Colombia Press closed in 2023 and was replaced by Mexican bar and restaurant Jardin in July 2024. This closed within months but the unit has recently been taken over by Thai restaurant Eat Nua.

Its menu offers Thai curries, platters, starters, noodle dishes, grills, stir fries, rice dishes, soups and salads.
