What a rubbish weekend! I hate it when Watford do not have a game at the weekend. International weekend is always an unwelcome interruption in my opinion, but at least England are usually involved. The fact that our game against Blackburn was postponed, because of their UEFA Cup involvement, left me rather bored yesterday. No game to follow the Hornets and no game to cheer on England.

So now we have Tuesday’s game to look forward to against Sheffield United. I think we all know this is massive. I honestly believe this could go our way. I’m also hoping that this could be the game that Darius Henderson breaks his duck. It’s the sort of match he should thrive on. He’s up against tenacious defenders, similar in build to himself, who lack that little bit of pace.

I hope the recent speculation surrounding Ashley Young doesn’t affect him too much. I’m sure it is flattering for any player to be linked with a club like Arsenal, but we need him on top form against United. I anticipate we will see Danny Shittu back in the side, as I was surprised to see him left out against Pompey last week. In my honest opinion, he has been our best player this season, so hopefully Aidy will stick him in alongside Jay from the USA.
