A MAN who exposed himself to a mother with her three children at a train station will be sentenced later this month for indecent exposure.

Watford Magistrates Court heard at a previous hearing how the woman fled after seeing "blank faced" Leon Clarke, 27, of Neil Wates Crescent, Tulse Hill, London, masturbating in the waiting room at Croxley Green Station.

The prosecution said that last year at 11.30am on Tuesday, August 7, the woman, was with her three children aged five, nine, and 12, and went to the platform at the Underground station.

She was stood in front of the waiting room when she looked round and saw Clarke sitting in the waiting room, looking straight at her with a blank expression on his face.

She saw Clarke was masturbating and took her children away and reported the incident to station staff, who called police.

Another woman went into the waiting room and walked back out again. Clarke was arrested at home about a month after the incident and taken to Brixton police station for questioning.

Clarke, who suffers from mental health problems, admitted to looking at the woman while he masturbated and confessed to all the allegations put by police.

When Clarke appeared in court at the start of the year, Clarke who has a caution for a similar offence pleaded not guilty, although he reversed his plea later.

His defence, said before the magistrates sentenced there should be a pre-sentence report.

It was argued since the offence Clarke had made great progress with treatment he was receiving at hospital.

The case was adjourned until Thursday, May 29, and on that day it was further adjourned until Friday, June 20.

Clarke's unconditional bail preventing him from going to Croxley Green Station was extended until that date.
