Mummy's the word for members of a local history society, when they prepare for the first event of their 2008/09 calendar.
The South West Herts Archaeological and Historical Society will explore how Egypt, one of the greatest ancient civilizations developed from independent villages, scattered along the Nile to a united country.
Speaker Mike Morrow will also explore the story of how the Egyptians changed from 'Farmers to Pharaohs'.
The event takes place at 8pm on Wednesday, October 15, at Cassio Lodge, Watford, close to Watford Central Library. Visitors are welcome.
