A TASTE of the Caribbean is coming to a West Watford church this weekend and everyone is invited to join in the fun.
St Michael and All Angels Church in Mildred Avenue is holding its popular Caribbean Festival on Sunday featuring music and food from sunnier climes.
The event will get under way at 9.30am with a service of sung Eucharist with music provided by St Michael's Choir and singers from the African Apostolic Church.
The service will be led by Fr Reginald Duguid, curate at All Saints Church in Notting Hill, and part-time chaplain at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington.
A host of local dignitaries are set to attend including Watford MP Claire Ward, Watford's elected mayor Dorothy Thornhill and the new chairman of Watford Council, Cllr Ellie Burtenshaw.
After the service there will be a chance to sample food made by Caribbean church members.
