SEPTEMBER sees the release of a new programme of events for the over 50's.
Hertsmere Borough Council's Fifty Plus brochure is now available to residents.
It contains listings of one-off events and regular activities for the over fifties in Radlett, Bushey and across the borough.
Among the items featured in the brochure, which covers the season September 2003 to March 2004, are a combined cruise and walking tour in Windsor in October, a craft fair at Alexandra Palace in November and a visit to see The Rat Pack in January, as well as regular rambles.
Regular classes including yoga, line dancing and indoor bowls are held at various locations in Bushey, while Radlett residents can try their hand at bridge. There is also a short course in Tai Chi Ch'uan available at Bushey Grove Leisure Centre in Aldenham Avenue.
