More than 100 cyclists will strap on their bicycle clips, pull on a Peace Hospice T-shirt and pedal for charity this weekend.
This year's Pedal for Peace bike ride will take place on Sunday morning in aid of The Peace Hospice.
The annual ride is organised as a fun event offering the choice of a 10, 20 or 30-mile route, all starting and finishing in Cassiobury Park, Watford.
The Peace Hospice currently receives less than a quarter of its income from the NHS and therefore needs to raise £3 million of charitable income alone this year to continue running and developing its services.
The hospice's community fundraising manager, Gill Crowson, said: “We already have about 100 riders registered for the event, but there are still a few last-minute places available for the ride.
“Entry is £12 per person and this fee covers a T-shirt and tag-pack for your bike to record you at check-points.
“So if you’re feeling energetic and are aged 14 or over, why not join us – you can register on the day at 9am in Cassiobury Park.”
