A hospice that cares for children with life-limiting illnesses and their families from across Hertfordshire has changed its name.
Keech Hospice Care was chosen to replace Keech Cottage Children's Hospice because “it brings together the strongest elements of the charity's current identity”.
David White, chief executive of Keech Hospice Care, said: “Our new name provides a clearer identity for the charity and a greater understanding of who we are. However, we still want people to be able to support the hospice of their choice.
“Keech Hospice Care for children will continue to care for children across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes, both at the hospice site just north of Luton, and via a community nursing team in families’ homes.”
