Master butcher Dave Butler, of W H Higgins, Chorleywood, does his bit to promote British Sausage Week, which is taking place across the country from Monday.
Organised by the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board, the week aims to promote the traditional handmade butcher’s sausage, ahead of many cut price brands often found in supermarkets.
Mr Butler said: “We produce about four to five hundred pounds of sausages each week, all made with our secret recipe.”
