Hertsmere's MP James Clappison has said he is happy to abide by the leaked details of the Kelly report.
The report into MPs' expenses is likely to stop second home allowances to MPs with constituencies within an hour's journey of the Parliament.
It has also been said that MPs will be banned from employing close family relatives.
Mr Clappison said: “On the basis of what's been heard I'm happy to abide by the Kelly report.
“I've never employed a member of my family and I've never claimed for a mortgage or rent.
“In fact I voluntarily gave up my second home allowance at the end of March this year in order to help restore confidence in Parliament.”
The report is to be released on the November 4, although suggested contents of it have been widely leaked this week.
