Around a 1000 pink balloons floated across Watford today in order to raise awareness of breast cancer.
Released from The Harlequin’s King’s car park at 2pm, the balloons carried messages from shoppers inspiring hope to those suffering from or affected by breast cancer.
Marketing manager for The Harlequin, Chrissy Dawson, said: “We’ve held numerous events through the month to try to raise money and awareness of breast cancer.
“Shoppers were asked to donate money for the balloon release and thanks to them we have managed to raise around £500 for Breakthrough for Breast Cancer.”
