A man has walked away with minor injuries after the car he was driving crashed on the M1 earlier this morning.
Emergency services were alerted to a report of a single car collision with the central reservation at 8.17am, on the northbound carriageway between Junction 7 and Junction 8.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "A man, who we believe to be 23 years old, received minor injuries and, following assessments by paramedics, he did not need to go to hospital."
