A salon in Rickmansworth has raised nearly £700 for breast cancer following a pink themed day.
Louvere, in the High Street, took part in a nationwide event last Friday called “Wear it pink”, which was organised by Breast Cancer Campaign.
Steve Anastassi, stylist at the salon, said: “We decorated the whole salon and it went so well we carried on on Saturday too.
“We put up loads of pink balloons and the girls wore pink sashes. Me and the manager Joss wore pink wigs too.”
Louvere, which has operated in Rickmansworth for 50 years, raised close to £700 from donations of around £10 a time.
