PEOPLE across Watford are being invited to test their knowledge at a charity quiz night in aid of the Willow Foundation.

The cause was set up by Arsenal legend Bob Wilson who is hosting the Smart Alec's quiz night along with his wife – which raised more than £6,400 for the Hatfield-based charity last year.

Teams across Hertfordshire are invited to join in with the evening of fun, organised by SA Law, on Thursday, November 12, at Watford Football Club to battle it out in seven gruelling rounds of questions.

Bob Wilson and his wife Megs – who have agreed to be quizmasters on the night - were inspired to start the charity, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary, in memory of their daughter Anna who died of cancer aged just 31.

Bob said: “These quiz nights are a fantastic fun way to make a real difference to people's lives.

“And it's invaluable for us to have this support so that we can continue to provide special days for another ten years and beyond. On behalf of the Willow Foundation and the people who will benefit -thankyou.”
