The Friends of Croxley Common Moor will meet this weekend to install bird and bat boxes on scrubland close to the Grand Union Canal.
The monthly "bushbashing" sees members meet at an area of special scientific interest near the canal and the River Gade, via Lock 79 near Mill Lane.
Equipment will be provided although members and visitors are advised to wear strong footwear.
The group will meet at 10am on Sunday, November 8.
