The tyres of a lorry stuck under a railway bridge have been let down to try and free the vehicle, police have said.
An HGV lorry became stuck under the bridge in Orphanage Road, close to Woodford Road, at 11.44am.
Police were called to the scene, while British Transport Police and Network Rail are aware of the incident.
A Hertfordshire Police representative also confirmed trains are still running from nearby Watford Junction, although they are being slowed down as they approach the bridge.
Network Rail are expected to inspect the bridge to determine the extent of any damage.
