Watford has been named as one of the most dedicated donators to BBC Children in Need.

A survey carried out by Asda showed 66.7 percent of Watford people donate to the charity.

Hertfordshire was also revelled as one of the top regions in the UK for historically donating to the charity Lucy Gowans, Asda National Charities Partnership Manager, said: “This year has been tough for all our customers and we wanted to find out how the recession would affect attitudes.

This is a real confidence boost it’s great to know that this is something the majority of our customers in the region will support.”

The survey shows that support for BBC Children in Need from Watford will remain strong in the run up to the televised appeal show on November 20.
