The Hemel Hempstead and Watford Group of the National Association of Colitis and Crohn’s celebrated NACC’s 30th birthday on Saturday, October 31 at Watford General Hospital.
Dr Rakesh Chaudhary, one of the team of Consultant Gastroenerologists at West Hertfordshire Hospitals Trust, gave a talk while Heather Baumohl, Director of Member Involvement gave a history of the growth of the organisation from its small beginnings to an organisation with 30,686 members.
NACC is an organisation totally funded by its membership and from fundraising. In 2008 for the second time it was named Patient Association of the Year.
