A long-running Chorleywood planning saga has been re-opened.
A property developer has resubmitted a controversial plan to build four semi-detached houses in Homefield Road, just weeks after the scheme was finally approved by councillors.
Chorleywood-based Masma Limited, which has been trying since 2003 to build on the site of a large house called The Cottage, has asked permission from Three Rivers District Council to extend and improve the scheme, finally granted in September.
Alterations, to be considered by council officers in the coming months, include flat-roofed extensions, a new garage, alterations to agreed driveways, and interior changes.
