Hornets' manager Malky Mackay has completed the club's latest signing – a new Transit van.
Mackay took delivery of the Toyota Transit van on behalf of Watford FC's Community Sports and Education Trust from Toyota Wayside in St Albans last Thursday.
Rob Smith, Watford's community director, said: “Having a sponsored van is crucial for us to do our work properly. It enables staff to transport essential kit and equipment to our community projects across the county as well as surrounding areas. The van ensures that we are able to provide a diverse programme of sports and educational activities, which in turn enhance people’s lives.”
Jonathan Lewis, brand director at Wayside Toyota, added: “We are particularly keen to support local sports activities and facilities that focus on widening participation, health and education. This is exactly what the team at the WFC CSE Trust do – and we are proud to be associated with such a dedicated organisation.”
