THE 15-year-old Bricket Wood teenager who died last night after she was hit by a car on Friday has been named as Eleanor Austin.
Grieving friends have set up a page on social networking site Facebook for her, Rest In Peace Eleanor Austin, with 1,142 messages already including one from Gloria Metherell reading: “Eleanor the best brownie helper ever. Alice says you always had the greatest ideas.
“You will be missed so, so much.”
The Parmiter's school pupil was hit by a silver Peugeot on the A405 North Orbital Road at 3.45pm, either on a pedestrian crossing or very close to one.
