Several Rickmansworth community groups and charities will benefit from a share of £10,000.
Like all 78 county councillors, Rickmansworth representative Barbara Lamb was given a £10,000 community grant to distribute to deserving causes.
Her donations included £500 to the Rickmansworth Young Musician of the Year competition, £1,000 to 9 Lives Furniture, £2,000 to the Chamber of Commerce Christmas lights appeal, £800 to the Rickmansworth Waterways Trust, £500 to the Three Rivers Museum, £250 to the Colne Valley Special Sailors, and £1,500 to the Mill End Football Club.
She said: “This process has given me a lot of pleasure. I have really enjoyed helping these groups with this money.”
